Jane Hutchings selected to lead PATH's reproductive health efforts
PATH is pleased to announce that Jane Hutchings has been chosen as global program leader for PATH’s reproductive health program. Ms. Hutchings has played a key role in PATH’s program leadership for the past several years and most recently served as associate director for the reproductive health program.
Ms. Hutchings has more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing innovative and effective reproductive health programs. At PATH, she has focused on increasing access to high-quality reproductive health medicines—particularly contraceptives. Ms. Hutchings oversaw PATH’s critical role in the development of the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition as a partner in the Supply Initiative, and she directed PATH’s work with the World Health Organization’s Essential Drugs and Medicines and Reproductive Health Research Programs to ensure access to good-quality, essential reproductive health medicines and devices. Ms. Hutchings has also served as a resource to PATH’s work to increase awareness of and access to emergency contraception in the United States and in developing countries and has led projects aimed at strengthening pharmacists’ skills and understanding of critical reproductive health issues around the world.
Ms. Hutchings attended the University of Michigan, where she received an MPH with an emphasis on international population planning policy and program development.
