PATH's president to participate in Seattle forum on vaccines
PATH’s president and CEO, Dr. Christopher Elias, will discuss the changing nature of the vaccine industry in a forum hosted by the business and technology news outlet Xconomy in Seattle on December 11. The forum, entitled Vaccines 2.0, brings together pioneers in research, development, and commercial implementation of the next generation of vaccines.
PATH is working toward a world where even the most vulnerable populations are protected through equal access to vaccines. Together with our private-sector partners, we’re finding vaccines for diseases such as malaria and meningitis that have devastated families and kept communities from thriving for far too long.
Other panelists participating in the forum include Dr. Denise Galloway, professor of microbiology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; Todd Patrick, former president, ID Biomedical; and Dr. Steve Reed, founder of the Infectious Disease Research Institute and current CEO of Immune Design.
