Technology and strategy at center of Global Health Council conference

May 20, 2009 by PATH

PATH staff will join thousands of people in Washington, DC, in late May to explore new ways of addressing the health needs of individuals, families, and communities around the world—and to share lessons learned on the front lines of global health.

The Global Health Council is hosting the 36th annual International Conference on Global Health from May 26 to May 30, 2009. This year’s theme is “New Technologies + Proven Strategies = Healthy Communities” and will highlight the ways in which technologies, best practices, and evidence-based policies improve health. Nearly 40 PATH staff will join our colleagues from around the world to engage in an open and unfettered exchange of ideas and approaches that is so vital to our work.
