The City University of Seattle has awarded its 2010 Innovations Award to Dr. Christopher J. Elias, PATH’s president and CEO, for his work in global health.

Heip Quach, chairman of the university’s Board of Governors, presented Elias with the award at the university’s annual Innovations Gala on November 17. The gala celebrates exceptional inventors, teachers, and students and aims to raise scholarship funds for deserving students facing economic hardship. This year, City University hosted more than 200 people and raised nearly $30,000.
