Japanese delegation visits PATH
A high-level delegation of Japanese government and health leaders recently visited PATH’s Seattle headquarters to learn about our work and how partnerships between the public and private sectors can spark global health solutions.
During their April 30 visit, the group toured PATH’s product development workshop and lab to learn about our innovative health technologies. They also heard from senior PATH leaders and scientists about our approach to developing product development partnerships that increase the availability and affordability of those health technologies.
The Japanese delegation included: Ms. Tamoko Dodo, senior consul, Consul General of Japan, Seattle; Dr. Sayako Kanamori, chief health officer, Japan Institute for Global Health (JIGH); Dr. Hirobumi Niki, member of the Japanese House of Representatives; and Mr. Masamitsu Naito, former member of Japan’s House of Councillors and founder of JIGH.
